Jellyfish Livewire provides intu Braehead with an interactive Joy Station

By | | Categories:

Jellyfish Livewire has worked with intu, the UK’s leading shopping centre operator with over 18 of the best-known locations around the UK, including Lakeside and The Trafford Centre. In particular Jellyfish Livewire has been working with the Customer Experience Team delivering a number of projects including the world’s first Giant Floor Piano installed on a walkway at intu Watford, anamorphic graphics in lifts at Watford and recently at Broadmarsh along with the intu Hub App with dynamic map featuring in a number of centres in Lounges, Customer Services Desks and JCDecaeux screens.

In October 2015 Jellyfish Livewire designed and built a digital games table that has been deployed in intu Braehead.

Think of it as a giant tablet with loads of fun games to play for one or more players.  Players can play by themselves or challenge their friends while in the centre. This table has been named the Joy Station and echoes the light-hearted, fun approach the brand has – it’s all about the making the shopping experience altogether more enjoyable and memorable.

The Multi-touch Entertainment software installed on the Joy Station is a world of fun at your fingertips.  It helps attract and entertain shoppers and keeps children happy and entertained while their parents shop. There are over 20 games to choose from.

The games are easily accessed via the intu Braehead home page using touch and swipe motions.

The Joy Station comes on lockable wheels so can be placed anywhere in the centre, comes with built in speakers and electronic height adjustment. Just plug in the 13am 3 pin plug and away you go.

See what intu Braehead have to say…

“The Joy Station was installed near our Christmas Grotto on the 6th November onwards…and from what staff have reported this was very busy on the run up and over the Christmas period which is fantastic!

Our customers have really enjoyed the Joy Station. We’ve had a few comments but I think the one that sums it all up is this tweet:

Overall I would certainly recommend this! ”
