You may recall in 2014 we digitally powered Benali’s Big Run, raising over £250000 for Cancer Research UK. Ex-Southampton footballer Francis Benali, took on the ultimate challenge running to all 20 Premier League Clubs across the UK in just 3 weeks.
Franny is at it again but bigger and better this time and is hoping to raise £1 million! On 2nd October he will set off from AFC Bournemouth and make his way to every premier league and championship ground covering over 1400 miles in just 2 weeks using a combination of running and cycling. This involves running a marathon followed by cycling 75 miles every day, that is 100 miles a day!
Jellyfish Livewire is again supporting Franny and Cancer Research UK by providing the website, working with Ordnance Survey and Open Tracking to provide live tracking plotting Franny’s progress as he goes round the UK. We have also worked with other partners to provide a range of interesting stats from number of steps taken to litres of water consumed and much more besides. Through rigorous analytics we are able to measure the impact of the numerous social channels, press and out of home media all being employed to build awareness.
Our MD Graham Lycett will be again joining Franny on the road to keep him company although not running the 26 miles he ran in 2014.
