Intu is the largest shopping network in the UK, they own and operate some of the UK’s best known shopping centres including Lakeside and the Trafford Centre. They deliver great shopping experiences to more than 400 million customer each year. Their brand is all about creating moments that delight their customers when they visit their shopping centres. This ethos runs through their communications, marketing and activities.
Livewire was tasked to invigorate ‘dull’ areas in selected shopping centres and turn them in to a memorable, experiential interaction for shoppers. We researched the local areas, for example in Nottingham we focussed on the caves underneath the streets of Nottingham dating back to the dark ages. We conducted on site photography of the caves, created engaging graphics that were printed and installed on walls, lifts and flooring throughout the shopping centre creating an element of fun and also promoting the visitor attraction.
